Hydro Jetting Services in Temecula
Camera, jet, camera. You see the before and after.
Hydro jetting uses a high-pressure hose with a rear-facing nozzle to scour the inside of a drain or sewer pipe. A cable punches a hole through a blockage. A jetter cleans the pipe back to its full diameter.
It is the right tool for grease that has built up in kitchen lines, for roots in a lateral, and for restaurant drains in Old Town and along the Rancho California Road corridor that clog on a schedule.

When jetting makes sense (and when it does not)
- Yes: grease-packed kitchen lines, roots in a lateral, restaurant and winery drains, a main line that clogs every few months, and cleaning a pipe before it is lined.
- Maybe: very old or already broken pipe. We camera first. Jetting a line with a collapsed section can wash soil into the pipe.
- No: a simple hair clog in a bathroom sink. A cable is faster and cheaper.
Why camera first
We run a camera before jetting to check pipe material, joints and any breaks. That is how we pick the nozzle and the pressure, and how we avoid making a damaged pipe worse. After jetting, a second pass shows the pipe wall is clean and whether there is a structural problem underneath the debris that needs a trenchless repair or liner.
Commercial kitchens and grease
Restaurants, breweries and tasting rooms send far more fats, oils and grease down the drain than homes. EMWD runs a source control program for commercial and industrial dischargers, and grease interceptors need regular pumping and cleaning. Scheduled jetting of the lines between the kitchen and the interceptor prevents Friday-night backups in Old Town. See commercial plumbing.

Local factors that matter
EMWD source control
Commercial dischargers are regulated. Clean lines and interceptors help you stay compliant.
Mature landscaping
Neighborhoods from the 1970s to 1990s have big trees near laterals.
Low-flow fixtures
Less water per flush means solids move slower in dirty pipes.
What affects the price
We quote after the first camera pass.
Access
A clean, accessible cleanout keeps time down. Pulling a toilet adds time.
Length and size of the line
Long estate laterals and commercial mains take longer.
Severity
Heavy roots or packed grease need more passes.
Camera and recording
Included before and after on main line jobs.
Questions Temecula homeowners ask
Straight answers to the calls we get most. If yours is not here, call and ask. There is no charge for a phone conversation.
Call (951) 744-8310Is hydro jetting safe for my pipes?
For sound ABS, PVC and cast iron, yes. We camera first so we do not jet a broken or collapsed section.
How long does jetting last?
On grease lines, much longer than snaking, because it removes the buildup. Roots will grow back unless the joint is repaired or lined.
Can you jet a restaurant line during business hours?
Usually we schedule before opening or after close to avoid downtime.
Do I need jetting before a pipe liner?
Yes. A liner needs a clean pipe wall to bond properly.
